155 young people conclude the #IgiraKuMurimo at Career Orientation Fair.

The Career Orientation Fair held on March 26th, 2025, featured a powerful TED Talk-style session where young entrepreneurs excelling in various sectors shared their journeys, offered practical advice, and inspired fellow youth to pursue ambitious career paths.

This dynamic session created a valuable space for experience-sharing and motivation, showcasing the impact of determination, creativity, and innovation in achieving business success. Ms. Lieke van de Wiel, UNICEF Rwanda Representative, encouraged the youth with a heartfelt message: "May this be just the beginning—keep learning, growing, and introducing your peers to these opportunities. Beyond this, we want to stay connected with you, to hear from you, and to understand what works best for you."

Minister Jean Nepo Abdallah commended the discipline and engagement demonstrated by the over 155 young people who successfully completed the #IgiraKuMurimo program. He extended gratitude to UNICEF Rwanda and to the public and private sector institutions that hosted and supported the youth during their placements. Highlighting the program’s impact, the Minister emphasized the need to scale the initiative from two pilot districts to all 30 districts across the country.
